What is CalFresh Food?

CalFresh is a nutrition program that helps you get the fresh fruit, vegetables, and whole grain you need to stay healthy. It also helps you stretch your food dollars every month. You would remember it as Food Stamps.

How does it work?

It’s a lot easier than you think! Your CalFresh Food benefits are deposited into a convenient card that can be used at markets everywhere, just like an ATM card.

How do I Apply?

Learn more at getcalfresh.org – Nearly all Mercy Brown Bag Program recipients will qualify! It only takes about 15 minutes to apply.
