Mobile Grocery Truck

This mobile grocery truck is designed to deliver groceries directly to older adults in need. It can park along a city block, or pull into the parking lot of a low income senior housing building. With the push of a button the awnings on the truck go up and shelving comes down. Seniors are able to shop for fresh produce, healthy grains, and lean proteins including fresh milk at no charge.

The truck was built in response to the many calls we get from seniors who are unable to get to our sites because of health problems, or because they cannot afford transportation. The truck can hold food for up to 300 people, and includes a cooler for perishables. The shelves were designed to make shopping easy for those in wheelchairs, or with walkers.
