Volunteer With Us – Be the Difference in a Senior’s Life!

When you volunteer with Mercy Brown Bag, you are doing more than giving your time—you’re building community, making connections, and changing lives. It’s meaningful; it’s social, and it’s fun!

Whether you have a few hours each week or want to jump in when time permits, every volunteer role helps Mercy Brown Bag feed hungry seniors in Alameda County.

Volunteer opportunities:

  • Assist senior shoppers and help restock shelves at our CommonSpirit Health Grocery Store.
  • Put your language skills to work by translating materials or by helping our customers shop.
  • Sort and pack groceries in our warehouse.
  • Deliver groceries to senior residencies.
  • Work at one of our Mercy Brown Bag partner food distribution sites.
  • Share your special talents! We always need fundraising, photography, and administrative support.
